I have a contrary opinion which may not be suitable for general consumption. Why is possession of photos or videos of child pornography a crime? (I am not interested in sexual relations with under age persons, so this is from a libertarian's standpoint) I can understand the reasoning that possession promotes demand, (I do not know if this is a proven fact) but if the person who possesses child pornography does not commit sexual acts with under age persons, is this not his/her own business?
