It’s because of that mentality “no one told us to be careful with our kids” that pedos realize how easy it is to lure children or kidnap them. Parents will let the little ones explore the store alone, go over to house of friends whom they’ve yet to meet the parents or know their friend, and will deliberately ignore their children to only focus on themselves. Which leads to children wandering off. A couple fell asleep drunk at a beach and their two children ended up in a hotel. Can’t imagine what would’ve happened if there was a pedo lurking around. The parents didn’t even ask about their kids. They were more bothered by the idea that they’re being harassed by the cops 🤦🏾

Oh come on.. we all know what stranger danger is by now. What's wrong with these parents? Why do you have to be told to be careful with your kids? Are they literally boomers? Because even my gen x parents know better. They were failed by their parents and became the stereotypical helicopter parents who are over protective of their kids around strangers. I had to use frickin' passcodes to even allow a family friend to pick me up from school so my parents could be sure I don't just get taken even though I knew the people picking me up. Have we just come full circle and people don't care about stranger danger again? Jesus people..
