Body cam video, arrest report released in major PSL child pornography investigation

100 COUNTS OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY | Body camera video provided by the sheriff’s office shows the moment authorities entered the home to arrest the 41-year-old after several failed commands to get the people inside to exit the home. Another person is also seen being detained by deputies, but the person’s involvement was not disclosed by authorities.

Sheriff Keith Pearson said following a search of the home detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit recovered over 150 devices. Investigators stated that multiple digital devices were seen “powered on” throughout the home.

“That’s SD cards, that’s computers, that’s laptops,” Sheriff Pearson said. “Anything that’ll digitally hold the device and they’re [ICAC] combing through that now to see if there’s more child pornography on there.”

While 100 counts is already an extensive number, Pearson said while the devices are being searched there could be more added on.

“He’s currently in jail for 100 counts of possessing child pornography. We’ve seized over 150 separate devices that we’re going to comb through now, and I’m sure there’s gonna be many more charges to come,” he said.
