Six minors among 31 arrested in nationwide child porn crackdown

Six underage boys were among 31 people arrested in a nationwide crackdown on Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

The latest Op Pedo Bersepadu also saw over 880,000 digital CSAM and adult pornographic materials seized in 37 raids conducted nationwide between Sept 22 and Sept 30.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the 31 male suspects were aged between 12 and 71.

They were arrested in joint operations involving Federal police led by its Sexual, Women and Child Investigations Division (D11) with the cooperation of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
